Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: July 17, 2026 · Version 1.1

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for paid subscriptions to CrediBlog. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

CrediBlog is operated by Sharpian (샤피안), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea ("Sharpian", "we", "us", "our"). Business registration details are available on request and are provided to our payment processor.

1. Who you are paying

How refunds work depends on how you paid.

  • Subscriptions purchased online: Your payment is processed by Paddle, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. When you check out, your contract of sale for the payment is with Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms and refund handling apply alongside this policy. Paddle appears on your card or bank statement.
  • Plans paid by invoice / bank transfer (for example, pilot or enterprise plans):These are sold directly by Sharpian under an order form or written agreement. Refunds for these plans are governed by that agreement and Section 5 below, not by Paddle.

2. 30-day money-back guarantee (online subscriptions)

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on subscriptions purchased online.

If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of your initial purchase (the order completion date). We will refund the full amount paid for the current subscription period, and access to the paid Service will end on the date the refund is issued.

To request a refund within the guarantee period, contact support@crediblog.com from the email address used to purchase, or follow the refund instructions in your Paddle receipt. Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer (typically 5–10 business days after the refund is issued).

At checkout you will be asked to confirm that you understand you have 30 days from the order completion date to cancel or request a refund. This acknowledgement is required to complete your purchase.

3. After the 30-day period

After the 30-day money-back window has passed:

  • Subscription fees for the current term are non-refundable, in whole or in part, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
  • You may still cancel to prevent the next renewal (see Section 4). Cancelling stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund the current term.

We may, at our sole discretion, grant a partial or full refund outside the guarantee period in exceptional circumstances (for example, a prolonged service outage attributable to us). Doing so once does not oblige us to do so again.

4. Cancellation and auto-renewal (online subscriptions)

  • Your online subscription is billed monthly (unless a different billing period is shown at checkout) and renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Paddle emails a receipt to your account email for each charge.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account billing settings or by emailing support@crediblog.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term. You keep access until then, and you are not charged again.
  • On cancellation or non-renewal, you can retrieve your published posts via the JSON API, or ask us for a full copy, before access ends, as described in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

5. Plans paid by invoice / bank transfer

Plans sold directly by invoice and bank transfer (such as pilot or enterprise plans) are not eligible for the 30-day online money-back guarantee. Refund, cancellation, and renewal terms for these plans are set out in your order form or master agreement. In the absence of a specific clause, fees for the current term are non-refundable once the term has begun, and the subscription does not auto-renew without a new order.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact support@crediblog.com (or Paddle, for online purchases) first; we resolve almost everything quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of the affected account pending resolution.

7. Taxes

For online (Paddle) purchases, applicable sales tax / VAT is handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record and is shown at checkout. Refunds include any tax that was charged, where required by law.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase or renewal applies to that transaction. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
